Real-life police heroes play superhero for sick kids at children’s hospital
June 19, 2018
Last Tuesday, Austin, Texas, police officers dressed as superheroes to visit a local children’s medical center in their fourth annual Super Hero Day, Patch.com reported.
The Austin officers in costume staged a theatrical battle, including rappelling down the hospital walls.
The department tweeted, “It's an honor to bring smiles to these brave children who are the real superheroes - fighting to get better every day.”
Officers handed out autographs and took selfies with the kids as well, KXAN reported.
