Tonight, voters in Idaho's 1st Congressional District will nominate a new Republican candidate for the seat vacated by House Freedom Caucus founding member Rep. Raul Labrador, R-Idaho.
The three front-runners are House Freedom Caucus-endorsed Russ Fulcher, former Lieutenant Governor David Leroy, and state Rep. Luke Malek.
Alex Gallegos, Nick Henderson, Christy Perry, and Michael Snyder are also running.
Idaho uses a closed primary system, meaning voters must be registered party members to vote in a party primary. The polls close at 8 p.m. local time (some counties are in PDT, and all polls will be closed at 11 p.m. EDT).
