VIDEO: Soldier delayed in airport sees daughter's birth on FaceTime

A heartwarming Facebook video of a soldier watching as he becomes a new dad is going viral.

On Saturday, Brooks Lindsey of Brandon, Mississippi, was stuck in an airport while his wife was in labor. KTVU reports that a fellow traveler named Tracy Dover posted on Facebook about the "beautiful moment" when Lindsey's wife, Haley Lindsey, gave birth to their daughter, Millie.

"He had to watch the birth of his daughter on FaceTime. He was crying and our hearts were breaking," Dover wrote. "We all gave him space. When we heard the baby cry, we all rejoiced for him."

Lindsey's wife posted a video of Brooks watching as Millie came into the world.

KTVU reports that Brooks Lindsey is part of the 2d Battalion, 114th Field Artillery Regiment.
