An $86,000 Kegger

Gawker brings us the story of Travis Ludy, 21, Mitchell Klatt, 20, and Kevin Tracy, 20, three University of Wisconsin students who learned the hard way not to cross the law.

The students held a classic kegger at their Madison residence: $5 /cup, all you can drink. Eventually the cops showed up and issued the trio 130 citations for the party. Total fine: $86,000, split between the three.
