Sarah Palin rolled into Arizona last week with message of government responsibility and Republican victories. She left with an extra pair of underwear.
Tough-on-immigration Sheriff Joe Arpaio, who appeared with Palin at a speaking engagement, apparently gave Palin his infamous "prisoner treatment," which means a pair of pink underwear.
He boasted about it on his Twitter account:
The gift pokes fun at Arpaio's reputation. He is known for his unconventional treatment of prisoners, and according to Talking Points Memo, sometimes makes convicts dress in all pink, which includes their underwear.
