“caring, energetic person"
A young special ed elementary school teacher has died after a stunt went terribly wrong at a Chicago Halloween party.
23-year-old Megan Dusky fell to her death while trying to slide down a hotel hand rail, police say. She died instantly from head trauma.
Duskey taught special ed classes at Orville T. Bright Elementary School on Chicago's South Side, the local Fox affiliate reports. Her family calls her a “caring, energetic person who was full of life and eager to help others and make a difference in the world."
She was partying with friends at the “Haunted Hotel Ball” and went dressed in a yellow and black costume resembling the comic book superhero the Silver Spectre, authorities said.
