Oprah's Audience Freaks Out Over 'Favorite Things' Giveaway

Every year,* Oprah tapes an episode where she stages a massive audience giveaway. She calls it her "Favorite Things" episode, since she gives away her, well, favorite things. Audience members leave with thousands of dollars in prizes, which have included electronics, appliances, and even cars.

The catch is that the audience never knows when its coming. So that can only mean one thing: massive freak-outs, hyperventilating, and school-girl screams of joy. Below is a montage of such actions from this year's "Favorite Things," which aired yesterday and is the last one ever since Oprah is going off the air at the end of the season:
