Bob Dole Checks Into Walter Reed

Former Kansas Senator and Republican presidential candidate Bob Dole has reportedly been readmitted to Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C.

According to Dole Institute spokeswoman Heather Anderson, Dole entered the hospital on Thursday, but the Associated Press has not been able to verify his health status.

Last year, the 87-year-old spent 10 months at Walter Reed after suffering pneumonia three times following knee surgery in February.

"We don't have any reason to believe it's anything serious," Anderson told the Topeka Capitol-Journal.

According to the Washington Post, "sources" say Dole checked into Walter Reed for a "minor tune-up."
