CNN's Cooper Presses Fired NYU Fellow Over Shock Tweets About CBS Reporter

As we reported, former NYU fellow and liberal journalist Nir Rosen came under fire Wednesday after sending out inappropriate and offensive messages via Twitter about CBS correspondent Lara Logan's horrific assault in Cairo last Friday.

On Wednesday evening, Rosen insisted that “no matter how I try to explain," he will come across as a "jerk." Nevertheless, Rosen claimed he did not know the severity of Logan's assault when he sent out his tweets and there is "no defense" for what he did.

Cooper also pressed him about messages he sent referencing the assault on Cooper and his team while he was on the ground in Cairo, claiming Logan was trying to "outdo" him.
