"Well let me tell you something Majority Leader Reid..."
It's easy to see why Rep. Allen West (R-FL) is a Tea Party favorite. Not only is he willing to call out CAIR representatives who try to "blow sunshine up [his] butt," but now he's even willing to to do an impersonation of Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid -- complete with a whiny voice and body actions.
While speaking at an event this weekend, West -- a former Army colonel -- mocked Reid's prediction from last week that the Tea Party won't last.
"This morning you know I had an interview on Fox, and Brian asked me a very simple question. He played that little clip of Harry Reid that said, ah you know the Tea Party, they're going to go away," he said in voice that mimicked a troll while making a face and hunching over. The crowd erupted in cheers.
He then delivered a message of his own: "Well let me tell you something Majority Leader Reid, the American people are not going away."
