Interestingly enough, one of the main points Rep. Paul Ryan gives in support of his budget plan is reinforcing America's "safety net for the poor."
Pelosi is also teaming up with Rev. Jim Wallis who has called on progressives to "unleash God" in protesting the GOP's budget trimming:
