Tea Party staple and potential 2012 presidential candidate Herman Cain gave a rousing speech at a tax-day Americans for Prosperity rally in New Hampshire on Friday. He praised the Founding Fathers, the Constitution, and the Declaration of Independence. In fact, he boldly quoted the latter, saying that we are now experiencing destructive government, and the time is now for "altering and abolishing" it.
"We've got some altering and abolishing to do, and we are doing it," he said to raucaous applause.
He also laid out his tax plan, which includes lowering the top corporate tax rate, suspending capital gains taxes, and giving employers and employees a one-year "payroll tax holiday."
