Eric Cantor Criticizes WH for Releasing Certificate: I Thought it Was a 'Sideshow

On Wednesday, House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-VA) responded to Obama releasing his long-form birth certificate. According to him, the decision only makes the controversy an "issue."

"If the White House press secretary says that this is a 'sideshow,' why aren't we treating it as such and dealing with the bigger issues?" he said. "This is an issue that does not belong in the debate, there are much more important issues for us to be dealing with, obviously."
