NEW YORK (AP) — An essay by Christopher Hitchens on the death of Osama bin Laden has been released as an e-book, exclusively through Amazon.com.
Amazon announced Monday that Hitchens' "The Enemy" can be purchased for $1.99. The book is about 5,000 words and is part of the online retailer's "Kindle Singles" program, featuring essays between 5,000 and 30,000 words.
Hitchens' books include "God is Not Great" and the memoir "Hitch-22.'" Despite being treated for cancer of the esophagus, Hitchens remains a regular contributor to Slate, Vanity Fair and other publications.
