Beck Calls Out Ed Schultz's Hypocrisy

"amping up racist and reckless rhetoric"

During his Wednesday broadcast of The ED Show, MSNBC's Ed Schultz asked of conservatives: "where is the decency?" Strange, coming from the person who recently called conservative commentator Laura Ingraham a "right-wing slut."

In his quest to find the love, Schultz devoted the evening to "Race and the Right Wing," in which he accused conservative television and radio hosts, including Neal Boortz and Glenn Beck, of advocating racism and inciting violence against "Blacks and Latinos" -- even President Obama.

HuffingtonPost reported:

"There's something very ugly and dangerous going on in this country," Schultz said. "Right wing talk show hosts seem to be amping up racist and reckless rhetoric like never before ... the level of racist and violent rhetoric on hard-right wing radio today is off the charts."

Schultz also accused Glenn Beck of promoting violence for saying earlier this week, "Why would you get a gun? To prepare for tough times, that's why," while pointing at a picture of President Obama.

Glenn Beck went on to address Schultz's hypocrisy during his radio program Thursday, and explained why he feels there is no honor left in the media. He also explained how he was in no way advocating violence against Obama, but rather a camera angle is to blame for the confusion.
