Too many foreign conflicts?
Are Americans becoming war-weary? With 100,000 troops remaining in Afghanistan, 45,000 more in Iraq and with military operating on the ground in a number of other Middle Eastern nations (Libya, Pakistan and Yemen), the majority of Americans (72 percent, in fact) are claiming the the U.S. is over-involved in international conflicts. According to a Pulse Opinion Research poll, 72% of Americans say the U.S. is involved in too many foreign conflicts. Fox News National Security Analyst KT McFarland believes Americans are frustrated because the U.S. isn’t prevailing in these conflicts and because our priorities aren’t clear.
