As many of you may have heard by now, a 5.9 magnitude earthquake centered northwest of Richmond, Va., rocked Washington, D.C., prompting the White House, Capitol, and parts of the Pentagon to be evacuated. The quake, that was half a mile deep into the earth's crust, was was actually felt as far north as Rhode Island, New York City and Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts.
We're asking our readers who experienced the quake or any of its aftershocks to send us their pictures, videos and stories related to the event to: jseidl@theblaze.com.
