A London jewelry store owner bested a knife-wielding attacker with a broom in a scary struggle caught on closed circuit camera.
The owner was working in Harrolds Discount Jewellers in the London suburb of Dagenham when a man grabbed a female saleswoman and held a knife to her throat.
In the video, the owner wrestles with the assailant, freeing the saleswoman, before grabbing a broom and forcing him out, all while avoiding the avoiding the slashing knife.

The attack happened in October, though police only just released the footage.
Detective Chief Inspector Ian Corner, who is leading the search for the suspect, praised the actions of the owner and saleswoman, the BBC reported.
"This was a violent attack which left the shop workers extremely shaken," he said. "They acted with great courage to fight off the suspect and were lucky to have avoided being seriously injured."
