Santa and Machine Guns': AZ Gun Club Holds Unique Photo Session With St. Nick

Sleigh bells and cartridge shells.

He's making a list, checking it twice, and apparently making sure there's plenty of 7.62 mm ammo on it.

The Scottsdale Gun Club held a "Santa and Machine Guns" event last week, and the combination of Saint Nicholas and military weaponry for a photo op has already created quite a buzz.

The gun club invited families to take holiday card picture with Santa and variety of fully automatic weapons (unloaded or rendered inert, one assumes). Adults were also invited to test out the guns at the club's range.

One gun club member told KSAV-TV the event is "all in fun for those who support the 2nd amendment, and those who don't, whether your a gun advocate or you're not, you should have a lot of fun with it."

The Daily Mail has compiled a slideshow of the "Santa and Machine Gun" photos posted to Facebook, which you can view here.

This is the second year the Scottsdale gun club has put on this event. Another "Santa and Machine Gun" event is set for Dec. 10th.
