Occupy Boston Protesters Arrested for...Trying to Bring a Kitchen Sink Into Camp

The saying goes "everything but the kitchen sink." But at Occupy Boston, it's more like, "everything including the kitchen sink."

That's because a scuffle broke out between police and the occupiers after the protesters tried to bring a kitchen sink into the encampment and police confiscated it. The occupiers claim they were just trying to comply with the city's order to clean up.

MyFoxBoston.com reports three people were arrested:

One person was arrested for allegedly assaulting a police officer while two others are facing disorderly conduct charges.

Occupy protesters told FOX 25 the scuffle beginning over a kitchen sink that was brought into the camp in an attempt to address health concerns raised at a hearing on Thursday.

Police say they confiscated the sink and put it into a police car. Arrests were made after 75 to 100 protesters moved in and surrounded the car as it tried to move down the street.
