January 22, 2012
"They were like, bus is on fire, we're not kidding."

A tour bus carrying country music star Lee Brice caught fire outside a restaurant in Arizona Saturday, forcing the singer and his crew to quickly evacuate.

No one was injured, Phoenix ABC affiliate KNXV-TV reported, but fire crews had to work quickly to keep the blaze from spreading to a trailer behind the bus.
"Fire was about as high as the roof of the building," firefighter Shaun Denman told the station.
Brice said he and a few other people were asleep when the fire started. They had just arrived in the Phoenix suburb of Mesa after nine hours on the road.
"They were like, bus is on fire, we're not kidding," Brice said. "So we had to run off and within a couple of minutes it was in flames. The whole back of the lounge was apparently burned through."
Firefighters were able to remove equipment and luggage from the bus, though some of the clothes were a little charred, Denman said.
Brice said he's thankful no one was hurt.
"You know what, everybody is OK and that's really the most important thing," Brice said. said. "We're blessed. We'll be okay."
