Passing around much more than a hot potato.
Chinese soldiers of The People's Liberation Army have been known for some odd training, but this seems to be a little strange even by their unusual standards.
China's CCTV broadcast this clip, which was making the rounds on the web this morning. It shows six PLA soldiers standing in a circle around a dirt blast hole, passing live explosives hand to hand before a simultaneous dive to the ground that looks more Broadway than battlefield.
Some have suggested it was just a smoking dud passed around with a live charge already embedded in the hole.
In any event, it's bit weird, and definitely worth watching (via Business Insider):
