ZZZZZZZZzzzzzzz... Oh sorry, here are the bits and pieces from Monday's NBC Republican debate heading into the Florida primary:
1. There really aren't any. This could possibly rate as the most boring event in the history of television. And it's not because there have been too many debates. It's because network news knows how to produce a quality news program, but it doesn't know how to make news exciting. Brian Williams was boring as a moderator the same reason Diana Sawyer is. It's network news.
2. Ron Paul and Rick Santorum got new ties!
3. But Paul still needs to find someone who can tailor his suits right. They still fit like a potato sack on Tyra Banks.
4. Mitt Romney finally has a reason to show that he's in it to win it. He can feel Newt Gingrich pulling the rug from under him and the most lively moment of the debate between the two can be seen here.
