President Barack Obama is a well-known basketball fan. He knows the game and like much of the rest of the nation, has Linsanity.
"It’s just a great story and the president was saying as much this morning. Obviously terrific for the New York Knicks but it’s the kind of sports story that transcends the sport itself," White House press secretary Jay Carney said of Jeremy Lin, point guard for the New York Knicks.
Carney said he and Obama discussed Lin en route to Andrews Air Force Base this morning.
