The GOP candidates often get attention for throwing verbal bombs at each other or President Barack Obama. Except Mitt Romney. The only time Romney really grabs headlines with his rhetoric is when he says something that reminds people of how rich he is. And that probably won't change.
"We've seen throughout the campaign if you're willing to say really outrageous things that are accusative, attacking of President Obama, that you're going to jump up in the polls," Romney said Tuesday while campaigning in Michigan. "I'm not willing to light my hair on fire to try and get support. I am who I am."
Don't count on Romney to hardline anyone with verbal assault. But you can always count on his hair.
