FreedomWorks President Tells Beck: Romney 'Has the Numbers on His Side' Against Obama

Romney needs to "be himself -- the guy who ran Bain Capital, ran a business."

FreedomWorks president Matt Kibbe joined Glenn Beck on Wednesday evening to discuss the results from Super Tuesday and break down what Americans need to do to defeat Barack Obama in November.

Kibbe, who told Glenn he believes Mitt Romney has a honest chance at claiming victory in 2012, said the GOP contender "has the numbers on his side."

But, Kibbe qualified that Romney's chances would be even better if could just "be himself -- the guy who ran Bain Capital, ran a business...and apply that same methodical logic to fixing our government."

Glenn warned, however, that while all eyes are on the presidential bid, local races are just as crucial, thus "we can't place all our eggs in one basket."

He added that whoever takes office is going to have his work cut out for him as he'll have no choice but to "make massive cuts" in spending across the board. "So you need people in the House and Senate who can give the president spine," Glenn said, explaining the fortitude needed to make the difficult decisions ahead.

In talking about local communities as key components of the greater American picture, Glenn and Kibbe also discussed local races and candidates to watch in the upcoming elections.
