Massachusetts Sen. Scott Brown took a few cracks at his fellow Republicans this weekend, singling out some of the GOP presidential candidates during a St. Patrick's Day breakfast in Boston.
"I see that both Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum now have Secret Service with them on the camp trail. And in Santorum's case, I think it's the first time that he's actually ever used protection," Brown said, referring to the former Pennsylvania senator's staunch opposition to birth control.
Brown, a staunch Mitt Romney backer, added: "Listen, you all know that Newt Gingrich wants to build a colony on the moon. Forget the moon, I think he should build it on whatever planet Ron Paul's from."
The annual event traditionally features politicians trying out their best one-liners and serves as a roast of sorts, according to Boston's NECN.
