Sen. Scott Brown's car was towed after an accident

On Friday Sen. Scott Brown (R-Mass.) and his wife Gail Huff got into a minor auto accident involving a pizza delivery vehicle and a telephone pole. Brown was on his way to an event in Dedham, Mass., and an aide was in the driver's seat.

No one in Brown's SUV was injured but the car had to be towed.

Authorities said the two vehicles collided but could not say who hit whom in the 8:28 p.m. accident, according to Dennis Sulinski, a police dispatcher. Neighbors said the Jeep struck a telephone pole. The driver of the other vehicle was also not injured, police said.

Alcohol was said not to be a factor in the accident.
