Cross-Dressing Fan Learns The Hard Way: Don't Trifle With an Annoyed Rugby Player

"You have been warned."

Seems like one of those things you shouldn’t have to tell people, right?  I mean, everyone understands that you shouldn't mess with a rugby player, especially when he's losing, right?

Apparently not. Some people like to court danger.

And, heck, if you’re a Bath or Sale Sharks (both British teams) fan, and you're going to charge the pitch in the middle of a game, you might as well go all out. And by “all out,” we mean “dressed as Goldilocks” (well, we think that’s supposed to be Goldilocks) like the guy in this video.

Unfortunately for the danger-courter, Bath player Olly Barkley was having a bad night and wasn’t in the mood for any cross-dressing hijinks.

Watch the fan (aka SuperTighthead) video via YouTube:

When the “tranny pitch invader entered [Barkley’s] vicinity, he'd had enough of what was a rather miserable night for the visitors, and took his frustrations out on the young man,” Rugby Dump reports.

Well, he’s not really a “tranny.” The “pitch invader,” as Rugby Dump calls him, was actually out with his buddies on a “stag do” (a bachelor party) which begs an even bigger question: what goes on during British bachelor parties?

“Barkley dumped the guy to the turf, which was picked up by a fan in the stands, and wasn't shown on TV,” Rugby Dump writes.

Unsurprisingly, an internet video of a rugby player plastering a frolicking man dressed up as Goldilocks garnered a bit of attention and prompted Barkley to Tweet the following:

“English rugby players do not abide with such nonsense,” Dead Spin’s Dave Shireley writes, “You have been warned.”
