Romney doesn't foresee Greek columns at Democratic Convention

At the Democratic National Convention in 2008 then-Sen. Barack Obama famously delivered his acceptance speech for the Democratic presidential nomination flanked by Greek columns.

Because Greece has been deep in the dumps financially since then, Mitt Romney said on Fox News last night that this year's Democratic convention will probably steer clear of any reference to Greece.

"The debt number is alarming and gives you great concern, of course, because we're moving toward the Greek-type numbers. My guess is, by the way, at the Democratic convention, he will not be appearing in front of Greek columns like in Denver.

"He won't want to remind people of Greece."
