It's no secret President Barack Obama has a slew of entertainment industry admirers, but comedian Cedric the Entertainer's answer during a CNN interview Friday offered a telling insight into just how far the devotion of some in the business might go.

Asked whether he had any advice for colleague Jimmy Kimmel as he prepares for his White House Correspondents' Dinner hosting gig this weekend, the comedian responded that since it's "an election year" you want to be sure not to "kill the president."
