Berkeley Campus Police Raid Occupy Encampment After Protesters Ignore Deadline

University of California, Berkeley students faced campus police action today after they ignored a weekend deadline to clear out of their makeshift encampment. The encampment in question, which was named "Occupy the Farm" for the distinctive agricultural focus of the camp dwellers, was raided by the university's campus police force today in a series of episodes that were captured on video by the Associated Press:
