Grover Norquist to Romney: Pick Jindal for VP!

Founder of Americans for Tax Reform and arguably one of the most powerful men in the Republican Party Grover Norquist has an op-ed in Politico laying out the case for Mitt Romney to pick Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal as his No. 2.

Romney would do well to have a wing man who can astutely explain the flaws in President Barack Obama’s policies and lay out the GOP’s innovative, pro-growth alternatives. There are many attractive prospects out there, but Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal can do not just all that, he has already implemented the sort of bold reforms at the state level that are now desperately needed at the federal level. ...

Jindal has sought to make his state as economically competitive as possible. While there are many attractive and capable candidates to choose from, Romney would be well-served with a partner who has this sort of commitment and experience to help him do the same at the national level.
