This 5-Year-Old Singing 'God Bless the USA' Could be the Cutest Thing You See All Day
June 11, 2012
By now you've probably heard of the New York public school that canned its students' planned performance of the patriotic "God Bless the USA" over concerns of offending others. But what you haven't seen is one of the kindergarteners from the class performing the song anyway.
The teacher behind the song switch also contends that the lyrics were just too grown up for the kids, although that's under scrutiny because the children are still slated to sing a Justin Bieber song about teen love.
