Any second now we will learn the Supreme Court’s decision on the Affordable Care Act (aka Obamacare.) With anticipation growing ahead of that ruling, a new government report has taken some aback as it shows that regardless of how the Supreme Court comes down on this, healthcare costs will continue to rise. The president’s plan does very little to combat this and Mitt Romney has said that if elected, he will repeal Obamacare on day one.
That said, Romney has said he plans to implement a plan to replace what he plans to appeal. With his much dissected Massachusetts plan in the rearview window, what will Romneycare 2.0 look like should he make it to the oval office?
During a campaign stop in Orlando Tuesday, Romney outlined his plan that would make the health insurance system “consumer based," and put the responsibility on the states to get the uninsured on the health care rolls.
