Part of Anthony Weiner's comeback is denying he's trying to make a comeback

After months of silence former Rep. Anthony Weiner reared his head to be quoted in a New York Times story about politics and media last week. We knew he had started his public rehabilitation process.

Oddly, in a radio interview today, Weiner said he's not trying to be all in the media and stuff. "I’m just going on my favorite radio show and talking about a subject that’s very dear to me,” Weiner said on The Brian Lehrer Show where he was discussing the Supreme Court's health care ruling.

He went on to say that he's busy taking care of his little Weiner (his six-month-old son). "I have to say my life is filled with great joy, but as I said when I resigned, I feel great regret for the people I let down."

Gag.

To his credit, most people who avoid the limelight are suckers for being quoted in the Times and appearing on broadcast news-talk shows.
