Jon Stewart mocks ABC reporter for associating CO shooter with tea party

ABC News reporter Brian Ross caught a lot of well-deserved flack for reporting immediately after the Aurora shooting that James Holmes, the alleged shooter, may have been the same "Jim Holmes" found on a local tea party web site.

On last night's Daily Show, Jon Stewart weighed in:

"[ABC News Anchor] George Stephanopoulos is in the middle of  doing a lot of things. But I'm assuming that he was under the impression Brian Ross checks out the sh-t he says on-air before saying it, since Brian Ross is their chief investigative correspondent and not, let's say, the office gossip."
