Ashley Moser, mother of 6-year-old Aurora, Colo. fatal shooting victim Veronica Moser-Sullivan, has suffered a miscarriage following her own critical injuries.

The woman whose 6-year-old daughter was the youngest to die in the Aurora, Colo. theater shooting has suffered a miscarriage following her own critical injuries.
The family of Ashley Moser said in a statement Saturday she is recovering from surgery but that the trauma she suffered caused her to miscarry, according to the Associated Press. Moser suffered gunshot wounds to the neck and abdomen.
The Jefferson County sheriff's office would not release additional details and said the family has declined to speak to the media.
Moser's daughter, Veronica Moser-Sullivan, was the youngest person to die during the attack on a midnight screening of the new Batman film "The Dark Knight Rises" more than a week ago.
Following the shooting, Ashley Moser's aunt said they hadn't told Moser her daughter had died.
"Nobody can tell her about it,” Annie Dalton said of her niece. “She is in critical condition, but all she’s asking about is her daughter.”
Criminal charges are expected to be filed against alleged gunman James Holmes on Monday.
