A Gallup poll released yesterday says some people who voted in the 2008 presidential election are switching parties this go around. According to the survey, 9 percent of those who voted for President Barack Obama in '08 plan on voting for Mitt Romney, while 5 percent of voters who backed Sen. John McCain plan on switching to support Obama.
Also interesting:
Nonwhites other than blacks, a group composed largely of Hispanics and Asians, are among the subgroups of 2008 Obama or McCain voters most likely to switch presidential preferences or be undecided this year.
