Applicant Takes Recruiter's 'Color' Request Literally, Hilarity Ensues

"Please explain your rationale for the rainbow."

Note to self: If someone asks you to "add some color" to your application, they mean "be more descriptive."

In the following email thread, which must be read bottom-to-top, recruiter Carl asks applicant Matthew why he wants to be a trader and advises him to add some color to his application.

Matthew took him literally.
