Michelle Obama will not break the law just so a little girl can have an autograph, OK?
August 23, 2012
Campaigning in Fort Lauderdale yesterday, Michelle Obama stopped at The Holiday Park Social Center, a community center with an after-school program. After some exercising with the kids, aged 6 to 11, Obama gave autographs. But not to everyone.
Per a pool report:
Riley Shanahan, 6, brought up a dollar bill for an autograph, but Mrs. Obama declined.
Michelle is a monster, right? WRONG.
Mrs. Obama simply did not want to be in violation of U.S. Code - Section 333, which clearly states: "Whoever mutilates, cuts, defaces, disfigures, or perforates, or unites or cements together, or does any other thing to any bank bill, draft, note, or other evidence of debt issued by any national banking association, or Federal Reserve bank, or the Federal Reserve System, with intent to render such bank bill, draft, note, or other evidence of debt unfit to be reissued, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than six months, or both."
Little Riley should have known better.
