The Republican National Convention aired a touching biographical tribute to GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney prior to his nomination acceptance speech on Thursday.
In the video, Romney and his wife, Ann, discuss their marriage, kids and how the couple struggled when Ann was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, providing a rare glimpse into who Romney is as a man, not a politician.
"Probably the toughest time in my life was standing there with Ann, as we hugged each other and the diagnosis came," Romney says. "I'm happy in life as long as I've got my soul mate with me."
