Another Tough Interview: Obama Appears on Radio Station & Debates Whether Rapper Nicki Minaj Really Endorsed Romney

"She likes to play different characters so I don’t know what’s going on there.”

President Obama followed up his widely-ridiculed appearance on a New Mexico radio station in late August with yet another extremely "softball" interview Monday.  The president graduated from challenging questions like "what is your favorite color?" to a sophisticated debate over whether rapper Nicki Minaj really endorsed Republican Mitt Romney.

"Sasha and Malia, are they big fans of Nicki Minaj?" the radio host of Florida's Power 95.3 asked.

The president responded that he wasn't sure, but that his children are becoming "hipper" than he is.

The host continued: "One of the big stories this past week was that Nicki Minaj had a record where she had a line in there where it appears she's going for Mitt Romney..."

In response to the lyric, "I'm a Republican, voting for Mitt Romney.  You lazy bi*ches is fu**ing up the economy," the president responded: “Yeah, I’m not sure that’s actually what happened..."

Obama continued: "I think she had a a song on there – a little rap that said that, but she likes to play different characters so I don’t know what’s going on there.”

The hosts laughed and one said it was "probably Roman [Zolanski]," Minaj's favorite alter ego, who endorsed Mitt Romney.

Roman Zolanski, MTV relates, is Minaj's "twin" who was "born from Minaj's own anger."
