A collection of Jim Messina's comically aggressive Obama campaign emails

The Obama team can send supporters anywhere between one and three emails everyday to solicit donations. Sometimes they're signed by President Obama, sometimes by Michelle Obama and other times by different campaign staffers.

And then there's the times that Jim Messina, who manages the campaign, signs them. Those are always fun and borderline hostile. Below is a sampling of some Messina's greatest hits.

Aug. 30, following Paul Ryan's Republican convention speech: "He lied about Medicare. He lied about the Recovery Act. He lied about the deficit and debt. ... Don't roll your eyes. We can't just groan and shrug and remark to our like-minded friends that this is ridiculous, because this is a significant moment in this campaign."

Sept. 10, sent out following the news that Obama had raised more money than Mitt Romney: "After all our hard work over the past 17 months, I'll be damned if the Romney campaign, Karl Rove, the Koch brothers, and a handful of anonymous billionaires 'carpet bomb' the President and end up deciding this election for millions of Americans in the last 57 days.

Aug. 25, two days after Obama sent out an email asking supporters if this was "the end" of his presidency: "The answer to the President's question is 'Hell no, it isn't the end!'"

Jun. 28: "It's been a good day. But this is a three-step process. 1. Pass historic health care reform. Check. 2. Get affirmation from the highest court in the country. Check. Step three? Win the damn election."

Jun. 20, referring to anonymous donations to Republicans: "We can make sure they don't get away with hiding these donors -- or their agendas. But it's going to take a lot of us standing up, putting our foot down, and saying 'Hell no.'"
