Beyonce emails for Obama: 'Donate whatever you can

How cool is it to receive an email from Beyonce Knowles? Not at all if millions of other people receive the same email, per the Obama campaign.

Both Beyonce and her husband rapper Jay-Z are hosting a fundraiser in New York for President Obama later this month. If you can't afford the $40,000 ticket to get in, Beyonce emails today that you can donate "$15 or whatever you can" to enter a raffle for a ticket.

"I've had the honor of meeting President Obama and the First Lady a few times -- and believe me -- it's an opportunity you don't want to miss," Beyonce writes.

Jay and I will be meeting up with President Obama for an evening in NYC sometime soon. And we want you to be there!

Until midnight tonight, if you pitch in $15 or whatever you can, you'll be automatically entered to be flown out to join us.
