An audience member at a campaign rally in Lima, Ohio, yesterday asked Paul Ryan why a *hypothetical* (yeah, right) Ron Paul supporter should vote Romney-Ryan in November. "Do you want Barack Obama to be re-elected?" the GOP vice presidential hopeful asked.

Ryan's response was short and sweet, though flimsy. In essence, a vote for anyone other than Mitt Romney will help to guarantee a second term for Barack Obama. However, Ryan would do well to add at least one thing about seeing eye-to-eye with Ron Paul supporters on some issues. The "lesser of two evils" meme isn't likely to generate a lot of voter enthusiasm for the GOP. Just sayin'...
