Ahead of tonight's presidential debate, former PBS news anchor Jim Lehrer, who will moderate, opened up about some anxiety he's having.
“The greatest fear of a moderator is that he or she will miss something,” he told the Washington Post yesterday in Denver. “If the candidate says it, and you let it go by, you have a hard time getting them back to clarify or explain. The fear of it is what makes me prepare as hard as I do.”
Tonight's event mark's Lehrer's 12th time moderating a presidential debate.
