"What do you know about Rube Goldberg? This is how we do it freestyle."
A Rube Goldberg machine is one that takes a ridiculous number of steps to complete a relatively simple task. TheBlaze has brought you Rube Goldberg's by this 7-year-old and another that's perhaps the world's most complex way to pop a balloon.
Now, here's a "human-powered freerunning" Rube Goldberg machine. As the video, made by Redbull, states, "performing simple tasks in a complex manner is what the human-powered freerunning machine is all about."
Redbull, which produced the video, describes it further on its website as the "next level of freerunning action" that adds up to the "biggest human chain reaction."
The main character powering the machine is 20-year-old German freerunner Jason Paul. As Paul leads the video, he poses the question: What do you know about Rube Goldberg?
