Woman Filming Violent Thunderstorm Gets Scare of a Lifetime As Lightning Leads to 'Fireball'!
October 08, 2012
"It's very awesome."
A woman filming a violent thunderstorm from a covered back porch facing her screened in pool seemed to be enjoying all Mother Nature had to offer.
She pans around the backyard showing heavy rain and high winds dramatically bending the trees. The storm doesn't frighten her at all. In fact, she says jovially that there's "a real rootin' tootin' amount of rainfall here. It's fun.
"It's just beautiful [...] I love it," she continued.
She even expresses excitement over the lightening. Little did she know only a few seconds later, she would see something more impressive than the flashes and crashes she had been witnessing before. She would capture the startling footage of lightning strike only a few yards from her home.
Watch the incident for yourself (Warning: Strong language):
She describes the event as a "fireball" in the title of the video posted on YouTube.
