Debate drumming: V.P. edition V.2.0

A blink at what's being said about Thursday's vice presidential debate...

"If Mitt told me I'd have to spend three days with Joe Biden... No way. It's only 90 minutes. So thank you..."-- Paul Ryan speaking at a fundraiser in Michigan yesterday.

"Because they had such a bad debate [last week], Joe Biden is just going to come flying at us."-- Ryan in a radio interview in Michigan yesterday.

“[Joe Biden's] not a guy who gets nervous about this stuff. He’s totally game."-- Former Michigan Gov. Jennifer Granholm told The Hill.

"[H]e’ll be bringing his proverbial nun chucks and brass knuckles."-- Steve Schmidt, who advised Sen. John McCain's presidential campaign in 2008, told Politico.

(Biden himself is currently holed up in Delaware preparing for the debate.)
